where can i buy some epoxy resin for the crafts i am doing?
can i get it at any hardware store? ive seen i can buy little crafty resin stuff, but i need it in bulk. i live in the republic of ireland btw. if i cant get my hands on it in any hardware store, where could i? thanks a mil.
In the U.S. anyway, small containers of clear 2-part epoxy resin can be purchased at hobby stores, craft stores, art supply stores, and “plastics” stores (like those that sell replacement flourescent light covers, cut large sheets of plastic, etc.).
(Be sure you’re getting an epoxy resin, not a polyester “casting” resin, in those stores though since many people seem not to know the difference between the two types and it’s important for how they can and can’t be used.)
Larger amounts of epoxy resin can be found at those plastics stores, or at hardware-type stores (where they may be called “bartop resin”).
And of course, various sizes can be purchased online.
