Without much protection from the rain, wind, earthquakes or other forces of nature, they lived in fear of nature’s “wrath”. There was no way to appease the great forces of nature but to adapt to them, allow them to take their toll and move on with our lives.

However, there was another threat, a very subtle one, which instilled fear in the minds of the earlier human inhabitants on earth. This was an invisible threat, one that didn’t have form or substance. It came in the guise of angry spirits that intended to harm them or their families. Sometimes these spirits manifested as mysterious events in their lives. These negative forces interfered with the peaceful harmony that many desired. The wise ones found ways to block this negative force, to keep it at bay, and to release a human being from its clutches by using protection spells.

In the present world these threats may materialize as strange illnesses, hatred, conflict, death, etc., that may leave us perplexed and without much hope of a bright and happy future. To protect us from negative influences that undermine our efforts to live a positive life, we can create protection spells for ourselves and our loved ones.

There are many types of protection spells. Protection from evil eye, black magic, illnesses, harm to crops, harmful spirits, hex-breaking spells. Anyone can use spells to protect themselves, their family, children, animals, home, business, property, wealth, love, happiness, prosperity, anger, sorrow or death.

To make our lives a success, it is imperative that we are surrounded by positive energy at all times. Negative energy drains our body’s resources and decreases our chances of finding lasting happiness.

This circle also keeps the evil or negative energies away from us and prevents them from foiling our attempts.

While performing any ritual, it is a good idea to visualize being encased by a circle or oval of protection during the time you invoke the deities and request their guidance in completing your spells and rituals. Usually, we visualize ourselves cocooned in three layers of protection, where each layer appears as a purple egg shaped structure around us and our sacred space.
